Time to Throw Down | 11:00
When God says it’s time to throw down, He’s inviting His people to step out of the safe and familiar and trust Him in a bold way. Drawn from Exodus 7:8–13, we’ll see how God calls Moses and Aaron to act in faith before Pharaoh, even when the opposition looks impressive and intimidating. This passage reminds us that obedience often places us face-to-face with convincing counterfeits—moments when the world’s power, wisdom, or influence seems just as strong as what God has promised.
But here’s the good news: God’s power doesn’t just compete with the world’s imitations—it completely outmatches them. What looks equal at first never stays that way when God steps in. This sermon will encourage you to trust God when He asks you to move, speak, or act, even when others appear to have their own “version” of power. Come be reminded that when God calls you to throw down your staff in faith, He is more than able to show that His power always has the final word.
