A Salvation That Works

Building on Paul's earlier argument about the grandeur and humility of Jesus Christ, we see him turn to what the Christian should do in light of what our Savior has done. Indeed, Christ's life should lead us to "be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish" (Phil 2.15 ESV).

This is our calling: to be God's children and to work towards this salvation with all reverence, and even fear. We should then count all things as loss as we pursue glorifying Christ.
