We have so much to be thankful for – although we sometimes forget how blessed we are. Throughout the Bible, we’re called to be thankful. In Colossians 1, Paul prays that the Colossians would have a life that walks worthy of the Lord and pleases Him in every way. Possessing joyful thanks is a quality of a Holy Spirit-led life that pleases the Lord in every way.
