Adonai - The Lord of All

Names are important because they identify who we are. They help shape our personality and help foster our character and connection with others. When it comes to God’s name, His name is more than a title, it’s a statement of His character – a revelation of His being. God gave us His name to help us to know Him and Trust Him. As we begin our new series, God Has A Name, we will begin with Adonai meaning – God is the Lord of all. He is the master, ruler, and owner of everything – implying that nothing escapes God or catches Him by surprise. He knows all, sees all, and controls all.
