Week 2 | Day 3
YOU TELL THEM
Exodus 6:13-7:7
When God sent Moses and Aaron back to Pharaoh, He made the assignment plain even if the path wouldn’t be easy. Moses would stand as God’s chosen leader; Aaron would serve as his mouth—so the message of the I AM would be heard. God promised a larger story (deliverance and His glory among the nations), yet He still required their obedience in the small step right in front of them: “You tell them.” Moses’ worried that his words didn’t disqualify him; they simply became the stage on which God’s sufficiency and wise pairing with Aaron could shine. In such moments, remember that a God-given calling may place you in rooms that feel bigger than you are. That’s not a sign to retreat; it’s an invitation to rely on the One who sent you.
Application
1. Called—then Equipped
God doesn’t necessarily call the equipped; He equips the called. Obedience opens the toolbox you didn’t know you had. Take the step you know—provision often appears mid-stride.
2. Know Your Limits—Steward Your Strengths
Moses naming his weakness wasn’t unbelief; it was sober judgment. We honor God by knowing how He’s wired us—our personality, spiritual gifts, abilities, experiences, and passions.
3. Go with Others When Possible
God sent Moses with Aaron. Courage compounds in community. Invite a trusted partner to pray, prepare, and, when needed, speak alongside you.
4. Walk by the Light You Have
God rarely gives the entire map, but He gives enough light for the next faithful step. Move on what you know; trust Him with what you don’t.
5. Seek—Listen—Confirm
Find God’s will by seeking Him, listening for His rhema in His logos, weighing godly counsel, and watching for His peace that steadies your heart even when the assignment stretches you.

Closing Prayer
Lord, thank You that You have a plan for my life that You want me to discover and live. Help
me to seek and find it—then submit and follow it. Your will is better than mine, even when it
leads me into uncomfortable places before people who feel larger than me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
