Discipleship CONCLAVE

February 28, March 21, April 25

Noon - 7 PM

The Middle School Ministry will meet 4 times this winter/spring for discipleship meetings. On the dates scheduled, come ready to stay after church, eat lunch and be a part of our new conclave system. We will spend the day with Bible study, games, and snacks. Be on the lookout for books of the Bible and passages we will be studying.

It's not too late to sign up for the year's most talked about event in Fayette County. It's Disciple Now Weekend - March 12 thru 14! The weekend will be a highlight for over 1200 students joining us this year from 21 local churches. Don't YOU want to be there?

It's not too late for you (and a friend) to register. Just bring a $50/student payment ($35/additional sibling or guest) and completed DNOW2010 registration form by the Bridge ASAP! We kick things off on Wednesday, March 10th from 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM at the Bridge with our "Annual DNOW Kick Off" for all participating middle and high school students. It will be a blast and give students their final information, weekend assignments, and DNOW2010 t-shirt!

DNOW2010 officially begins on Friday, March 12 when students show up at their assigned homes at 6:30 PM. The weekend is officially over at 1:30 PM following our closing lunch/share time on Sunday afternoon, March 14! Parents, if you want to check out a large group worship experience then come by the following times to WILLOWBEND DNOW2010 CENTER:

One Night of the Blacklight!

We will turn The Bridge into our very own laser tag facility!! Professional blacklighting, laser tag, and new and improved games! Do not miss this event! $10 for students unless you're a first time guest and then it's FREE!!

Weekend Retreat: April 16 - April 18

Each year beginning in January, our 8^th grade boys begin a study on Christian manhood in their Connection Group. This is a perfect time to tackle this subject as they make the transition from Middle School to High School. They will be presented with challenges and learn to overcome the pit falls that men often face. They will be encouraged to embrace manhood and the type of man that God wants them to be. The study culminates in the Crucible weekend as they make the symbolic passage from boyhood to manhood.

Weekend Retreat: April 30 - May 1

The transition from Middle School to High School is a frightening and exciting time in a girl's life. The 8^th grade girls start in January with a study during their Connection Group to help with this transition. They will be given key characteristics that show how to become a woman that God intends. The Chrysalis weekend brings this study together as they make the passage to womanhood.
